Minitube of America is seeking for immediate entry for its International Center for Biotechnology (ICB) in Mt Horeb, Wisconsin, a motivated large animal veterinarian, or animal scientist, or equivalent, with experience in large animal reproduction, research and development. The applicant should be ready to take responsibility for the execution of artificial reproduction research projects at the ICB’s bovine (75 head), equine (60 head), small ruminant (50 head) and porcine (250 head) facilities. The responsibilities will cover reproduction management, direct participation in research projects, coordination of collaborative research projects including, but not limited to, semen collection and evaluation, semen and embryo preservation, artificial insemination and embryo transfer, biotechnology of reproduction, development of animal models, embryology, endocrinology, molecular biology, genomics… The applicant should be organized, structured, dedicated, motivated and interested to join a team of 25 researchers specialized in biotechnology of reproduction.

Experience in assisted reproductive technologies is preferred, particularly in cattle and pigs. Applicant must be experienced in Microsoft Office, data entry and analysis using statistical tools. Knowledge of gamete biology, cell biology, cryobiology and reproductive physiology is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
